"The purpose of learning is growth, and our minds, unlike our bodies, can continue growing as we continue to live"

ADAM JAMES SCHNEIDER

Adam Schneider is the son of a factory worker and a nurse. Growing up, Adam learned how important it was to do well in school and to develop habits that would stick with him throughout his life. He realized at an early age that education, if done properly, could make a world of difference in someone's life.
You see, Adam grew up in a foster home. His parents took other children in that didn't have a safe or productive home. Through all the grief and all the stress and all the frustration, Adam saw what changed each and every one of the kids that passed through his home. It was love. And Adam knew then that every student could succeed without knowing preconditions or family background. Adam knew that the key to opening every door of opportunity for a child was through love and compassion.
Now, as Adam completes his high school education, he is ready to give back to his community. This is not a first for Adam. Ever since the first grade, Adam has been a cub/boy scout. In June of 2007, Adam achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Scouting shaped Adam's life into one of responsibility, reverence, and gratitude. Scouting was truly a great learning experience for Adam because he was able to experience things that you just can't find in the classroom.
